SUMMER SOUNDS – LIVE ON THE GREEN is being held at a truly beautiful and unique location. On the 16th Fairway of the Gulf Harbour Country Club. A natural amphitheatre at the end of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula.
In order to ensure this prime location is kept in the pristine state that the Greenkeepers work so hard to maintain we ask you to read and follow these concert guidelines.
Directions: Gulf Harbour Country Club - 180 Gulf Harbour Drive.
Follow the signs along Whangaparaoa Road to Gulf Harbour and then to the Golf Club
Times: Gates open 2.00pm / Concert Starts 2.30pm / 8.00pm - Everyone must EXIT Concert Venue
Parking: All Concert Parking will be within the grounds of the Gulf Harbour Country Club This is Free Parking! Please enter via the Golf Club Gates and follow the directions of the Marshals.
Please do not park on the road or surrounding roads of the concert venue Concert Venue -16th Fairway.
The Concert venue is a leisurely 10 - 15 minute walk from the Golf Clubhouse via the 18th and 17th Fairway Cart Paths.
Please wear appropriate shoes for this walk and please stay on the cart path. Follow the instructions of the marshals.
Picnics / Bar: You are more than welcome to bring a picnic with you, but NO alcohol or soft drinks can be brought into the Golf Club as this is a licensed venue / event.
This is a NO BYO Alcohol event. Please leave your booze at home.
Any BYO alcoholic drinks will be confiscated, so please don’t be offended if it is confiscated.
Please advise any friends, family and guests in your group
There will be wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Sealed Water bottles are permitted (700mm) and Picnic Hampers:
Those who ordered hampers with their ticket purchase can pick them up from the Hamper Tent on arrival at the Concert Site adjacent to the 16th Fairway.
Vendors: There will be a Coffee vendor and a selection of fine Gourmet BBQ food for purchase thanks to our friends from The Upstairs Bar.
Shoes: Please wear flat sole shoes. No heel shoes are permitted on the grass fairway
Glass: Glassware. Please refrain from bringing any glassware
Chairs: To protect the golf fairway, please try and bring soft chairs, bean bags, inflatable chairs, blankets, big cushions
Those who do bring chairs are requested to please sit off the main fairway in the short rough You are also asked not to bring tables, tents, beach umbrellas or sun shelters
Waste Disposal: There will be rubbish bins on site, please dispose of your rubbish accordingly or even better, take it home
Disabled Patrons: Please make contact with us prior to the event so we can make arrangements to help transport you out to concert venue. stuart@smartmovesgroup.co.nz
Cameras: You are encouraged to bring with you non-professional cameras to capture the amazing views and lasting memories of your time at Summer Sounds – Live on the Green
Tickets: Please print your tickets or have your phones on the ticket page ready for scanning when you arrive at the scanning station near the 17th Tee Box.
Children: For health and safety reasons this is an R14 event.
Rain Day: If the weather is adverse and not suitable for the event to take place, the rain date is the following Sunday, 27th November. Same time, same place. Should we have to postpone, we will put a message on our website, facebook page, post it on the Hibiscus Coast Group Page and have a voice message on the Gulf Harbour Country Club Phone Answer Service.
All tickets will be transferable and valid for the 27th November concert
REFUNDS: There will be no refunds if the concert is postponed from the 20th and held on the 27th November.
Please note, we will be subject to Government Alert Levels allowing us to run a full capacity event.
As a result we have taken advice of other promoters and advise the following:
1) If the weather in inclement and means we cannot hold the concert for Health and Safety reasons, we reschedule to Sunday 27th November
2) If the weather on the second week end also refrains us from holding the concert, we will reschedule within one month or thereafter refund the ticket price (not booking fees)
3) If we are in a Government Level that says we can’t have a full capacity concert on the 20th or 27th November, a practical decision will be made to announce a new date based on New Zealand being in the Orange or Green Level.
The promoter may also make a decision at that time to refund all tickets as a rescheduled date may not be practical.
4) All tickets will remain valid for any new date announced, and all ticket holders will receive updates via email and we will post updates on our website.
Please don't show up intoxicated or you'll unfortunately miss out on a great concert. Please drink responsibly.
Any intoxicated persons may be removed from the premises. Unruly and antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal/physical abuse of any person, throwing objects, littering, or defacing of any property.
